Fillmore Days Cast Iron Bathtub Race Registration

The Cast Iron class vehicle must be made out of a cast iron tub. It may be modified to look like anything as long as it's a family friendly design. Thinking of a racing taco, hotdog, or spaceship? The only limitations are your creativity! Participants are encouraged to dress up and wear creative costumes.

Please complete registration form. All entry forms must be received by August 9, 2024. No registrations are permitted on day of event. The gates for the event open at 10am with the first bathtub race starting at 2:00p.m..

Official Rules of Bathtub Race:

  • Driver and rider must be 14 years of age or older

  • Wheels may be no larger than 26 in. (no limit to the number of wheels, but must have a minimum of 3

  • Bathtub can be made out of cast iron

  • Bathtubs must have working brakes and steering

  • Tub must be able to hold water.

  • There must be at least two riders at all times during operation

  • Helmet strongly suggested for passengers of tub

  • Two pushers allowed per tub (closed toe shoes required)

  • Businesses may advertise on the sides of their bathtubs

  • Crossing the yellow line during the races will result in disqualification of that heat

  • Each competitive team requires a completed and paid for separate entry

  • ALL bathtubs are required to pass a safety inspection before being allowed to participate
